The supplier specifies a Longue Saison high-density 100% polyamide (nylon) shell, woven with fine yarn for a lightweight, tear-resistant feel and finished with a fluorine-free water-repellent treatment. It offers short-term protection against light rain, mist and dew; this is not a raincoat and prolonged heavy rain can penetrate. The smooth matte fabric resists creasing. Horizontal quilted compartments help retain still air and limit down movement and clumping. The lightweight, breathable lining is also 100% nylon. Bound interior seams and matching shell and lining stretch help reduce snagging and seam strain.
